Staying with the songs, charts and Video, we’ll introduce further scales and chords ~ the major and minor pentatonic scales, the major and minor scales, natural and synthetic scales, chord names, chord progressions, key compatibility, the 'circle of fifths' and the 'modal system'.

We’ll continue to develop our rhythm and picking techniques and introduce alternate tunings and finger~style picking. Again, all these exercises can be set against music or songs of your choice as audible and enjoyable reference for what we are playing.

If you have someone else to play with or compositions of your own ~ even better ~ as at this stage, we often write, arrange and record compositions using the methods and techniques we’ve learned so far
